Hdmi

Most people would choose HDMI, component, without a question. HDMI digital audio and video resolutions for 1080p source devices and many others. Analog component video and audio while it is not capable of 1080p, source of most of the devices currently do not support 1080p component. However, if you actually decide which video standard is actually seems the best, you can continue reading.

Cable specification Overrated?

On older high-definitionSources such as the Xbox 360, cable box or DVD player to convert, you may want to try both cables and see which works best. The reason that some devices only support early versions of HDMI, which transmit the signal with a lower bandwidth. In some cases, component video is actually a clear winner compared to the older HDMI for AV equipment.

If you use the HDMI cable or satellite, I recommend you try both cables. Why not? HD-TV programs are stillbroadcast in 720p and 1080i. So when it comes to older AV receivers, DVD players and cable / satellite boxes, cables, and test both the judge looks the best.

Now and the Future

For the new HDMI source devices is the way to go. Current Specifications HDMI are capable of even higher resolutions at 1080p! The only problem is that TVs and source devices still need to recover these capabilities. HDMI also features Dolby Digital and DTS audio. Component does not carryAnd a separate audio cable is needed to run the audio from the source to the display.

In short

HDMI is the clear winner when it comes to new AV equipment. However, I recommend you try both the oldest source and display devices.
