HDMI - A new standard for connecting home cinema
HDMI is the new type of connection to all new modern television, the most advanced home theater amplifier, several computers and monitors. But why is it important to buy a device with HDMI connection, and how much you should spend on HDMI cables?
HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, and is designed to provide a backwards-compatible replacement for the DVI interface commonly found on computer monitors. The standard for a single cable that transfers could beHigh-definition video stream, up to eight channels of digital audio signal and a Consumer Electronics Control. Its main purpose was to determine the standard connection between all consumer AV devices, and computer monitors are. Today, all new television sets and projectors are equipped with at least one HDMI connection and usually get more high-definition video.
