Samsung BD-D6700 Review - A 3D Blu-Ray Player With Dual HDMI

Samsung BD-D6700 Review - A 3D Blu-Ray Player With Dual HDMI

Hdmi

A part of Samsung's 2011 Blu-ray player line-up, the BD-D6700 is pack full of great features, with an innovative and unique design. This 3D player has built-in Wi-Fi, an exhaustive list of Online Streaming Media Services and dual HDMI Outputs. One major drawback of the BD-D6700 is its high price of almost 0.00 (Online retailers are selling it for about 0.00). Most Blu-ray players have decreased significantly in price over the last few years. So the question needs to be asked if the BD-D6700 is worth the cost.

The main reason for the high price tag is largely because of the dual HDMI Outputs. Very rare in most players, dual HDMI outputs are for those users who want to hear the latest high-resolution audio from a Dolby Digital True HD or DTS Master soundtrack but do not have 3D-compatible A/V receiver. Dual HDMI outputs allows you to have one HDMI cable connected to your 3D HDTV (Video Connection) and the other connected to your A/V receiver(Audio Connection).

But this is not the only feature to like. There are many other great things to rave about with the BD-D6700. This includes its unique design. Samsung has always tried to provide players with aesthetics that are attractive and appealing to the eye. The silver color chassis of the BD-D6700 will definitely accomplish this and stand out from all those glossy black boxy players. The disc loading tray is gone; in its place is a slot-loading system. The disc simply slides into the player, much like a car CD player. Right beneath this is a LCD display screen with basic touch sensitive control buttons. Providing the BD-D6700 with a clutter-free exterior.

The remote control has a nice lay-out, with a dedicated Netflix button which will allow you to access the popular online service quickly and easily. The BD-D6700 can also be controlled by your smartphone. There are applications for iOS and Andriod to perform basic control functions. The best part of which will allow you to entry text commands. Great for searching or registering for online streaming services. The user interface for the BD-D6700, although modern looking and colorful, could be made a little simpler to use.

VIDEO QUALITY: The BD-D6700 provides excellent Full HD 1080p/24 video resolution. And it can up-scale SD content to near HD levels. Great for those users who have large DVD collections. Image quality when playing 3D Blu-rays, standard Blu-rays, DVDs or streaming online video should be satisfactory to most consumers. Connections for the BD-D6700 include the two HDMI Outputs, a Component Video Output (restricted to 480i resolution due to AACS rules) and Composite Video Output.

AUDIO QUALITY: The BD-D6700 provides decoding for the latest High-Resolution audio formats - Dolby TrueHD - DTS-HD MA - or you can transmit these audio formats in their native bit-stream form to be decoded by your A/V receiver. As stated before, one of the highlights of the BD-D6700 is its dual HDMI outputs. Allowing users with a non-3D-compatible A/V receiver to enjoy the 7.1-channel surround sound. A nice feature that will save you money by not having to upgrade your A.V receiver. But for those with less concerning ears, you can use the optical digital audio output that comes with most 3D players. You basically get the same sound quality. For these users, a player with dual HDMI outputs would not be worth the extra cost.

The BD-D6700 does not only play 3D Blu-rays but it will allow you to convert SD images to 3D. This means your standard Blu-rays, DVDs and even streaming content can be transformed into 3D images. While this is more or less a gimmick (and can be found on most 3D HDTVs), it is still a nice little feature will allow you to relive movies from a whole new perspective. Other new innovative features include the One Foot Connection. With a Samsung wireless router, you can connect the BD-D6700 by placing it within one foot of the router during the setup, without a password. Once connected you can move the player anywhere within your house. This provides an easy and quick way to connect to the internet.

There is also an Ethernet Port to establish an internet connection. But once connected you have access to Samsung Smart TV and the Smart Hub interface. Here is where you will find all of the BD-D6700's streaming media services. This includes Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, Vudu, and Blockbuster. Also social networking sites as Facebook and Twitter. There is an application store, you can customize a home page, due searches and it even recommends movies to you based on past viewing habits.

With an internet connection you can also use any BD-Live features found on certain Blu-ray discs. The BD-D6700 has 1 GB of internal memory for storing any BD-Live data. Other features include USB playback and DLNA support. DLNA allows you to streaming content from other DLNA devices, such as your computer, to be displayed on your TV screen. The BD-D6700 can support the following files - AVI, MKV, WMV, MP4, MPG video, DivX HD, MP3, WMA and JPEG.

THE PROS: The BD-D6700 3D Blu-ray player from Samsung is equipped with two HDMI Outputs, built-in Wi-Fi, 1GB of internal memory, tons of Online Streaming Media Services (Netflix, Hulu Plus, MLB.TV, Vudu, CinemaNow, Pandora, Facebook, Twitter and more) and DLNA capability. It provides excellent images (Full HD 1080p/24 video output) and sound (Dolby TrueHD - DTS-HD MA) quality on both standard Blu-rays and 3D Blu-rays. It can up-scale DVDs to 1080p.

THE CONS: The BD-D6700 high price tag may not appeal to many consumers. You may want to consider the cheaper Samsung's BD-D6500, which is a very similar player, only lacking the dual HDMI Outputs. Speed times for the BD-D6700 is slightly below the average of most 2011 mid-level players.

THE FINAL WORD: The Samsung BD-D6700 is an excellent Blu-ray player. Offering many great features including 3D, stunning images and sounds, Dual HDMI Outputs, internal storage memory, DLNA support and much more. It's innovative Smart TV and Smart Hub offer one of the most comprehensive array of online streaming and social networking services - lacking only Amazon Instant Streaming - Which has the largest collection of Television shows. If you are not put off by the high price, the BD-D6700 is a good choice and would make a nice addition to anyone's Home Entertainment Theater. - Price you should look for when purchasing - Under 0.00

How to Get the Best Picture From Your Blu-Ray System

How to Get the Best Picture From Your Blu-Ray System

Hdmi

If you have just recently purchased a Blu-ray Player or you're thinking of purchasing one, you should realize it may not be as simple to set-up or connect to your TV/Home Entertainment center as you did with your old VCR or DVD player. This is mainly because the Blu-ray player is forcing manufacturers to change the way they are making TVs and AV receivers, causing these manufacturers to play catch up in order to give viewers the full benefits of this new technology.

So in order to get the best performance out of your Blu-ray player, here are some tips or guidelines you will need to correctly set-up your player. Also highlighted are some of the problems you might encounter when adding a blu-ray player to your Home Entertainment system.

Getting The Best Picture From Blu-ray:

Blu-ray players are manufactured to work on any TV that has component inputs, regardless if the TV is High Definition or not. However, having a Blu-ray player connected to a HDTV (High Definition TV) via the HDMI or component video inputs will allow you to get the full HD experience from your Blu-ray Player. So even though connections can be made to any TV with at least composite video inputs, in order to get the high definition Blu-ray resolution(1080/24p) you really need a 1080p HDTV. HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface and is the new standard for transmitting uncompressed digital data from your player to your TV set, just make sure all your devices have HDMI outputs or inputs. HDMI cables can be expensive, try to get a package deal where these are included with the product you're buying.

First, you should know the difference between a HDTV (High Definition TV) and HD Ready TV, you only have to remember one key difference: if your set has a built-in digital tuner it is HDTV, if it doesn't have this built-in tuner, it is HD Ready. So when a HDTV is labeled HD Ready, it means a television set does not include a built-in tuner for receiving over the air signals in high definition through an antenna. To overcome this problem, if you have HD cable, the box provided to you by the service provider will receive the HD signal necessary to give you high definition images on your HDTV. So even if you only have a HD Ready TV you will still have no problems watching Blu-ray high definition movies on it.

Now, having a 720p HDTV is recommended, but a 1080p HDTV would be your best option. This is because all blu-ray movies are stored on the disk in 1080p at 24 frames/second. You will often see this referred to as 1080p/24p. The original film was shot at this rate and the blu-ray format allows you to view the movie as the director wanted it to be seen. You should definitely be aware of older blu-ray players that were not capable of displaying 1080p/24p. These blu-ray players will convert the 1080p/24p signal to 1080p/60p using the '3:2 pulldown' technique. This means one frame is played 3 times and the next is played 2 times and so forth. One frame gets to be on the screen longer than the other causing a slight error in the video signal, commonly called telecine judder, the picture appears to have a slightly jerky movement.

Most of the newest blu-ray players have 1080/24 p output. But not all TVs can support 1080/24p. So feeding your 1080/24p signal into a television that cannot support it will result in the TV converting the incoming signal to 50 or 60Hz. This will also produce the telecine judder or vibration in the picture. Luckily most of the latest LCD and plasma TV set can now easily handle the 1080/24p signal.

To summarize, in order to get the best quality picture you need the following:
- Blu-ray Player with 1080/24p output signal
- Television that can support 1080/24p
- HDMI cable for connection
- For HD Television broadcasts you need HD cable service

This will give you the best cinematic images when watching movies or TV programs in the comfort of your own home. Happy viewing!

Samsung BD-C7900 Blu-Ray Player Review

Samsung BD-C7900 Blu-Ray Player Review

Hdmi

The BD-C7900 is one of the new Samsung 3D Blu-ray. With a list price of $ 399.99 that should be their model "Top of the Line." It replaces the previous model BD-C6900, which is now listed $ 349.99. Very similar in style and comfort, but the BD-C7900 is equipped with two HDMI outputs. This additional feature can be very useful for those who enjoy 3D entertainment at home with the least number of updates for their home theater center.

Samsung has always beentaken the extra effort to produce unique design Blu-ray. The BD-C7900 is no exception. With dimensions of just 1.6 inches tall, the BD-C7900 is 3D Blu-ray touch-sensitive buttons on the top front edge. It has a fresh look at the top where you can see the drive. This is (this can be disabled), with a blue light, and the 3D Blu-ray illuminated logo. The remote is very comfortable to hold with ease to use and isoff.

Video Quality: You can use the BD-C7900 video via HDMI (ver1.4) output, component video or composite video outputs are connected. The best connection would be via the HDMI output 1080p/60 and 1080p/24 both resolutions can be supported. Bringing the images through three preset picture modes, or through a user-mode lets you set sharpness and noise reduction can be done. Samsung has a feature called Full-screen adaptation that containautomatically converts the videos in 16:9 aspect ratio 21:09. This will get rid of those annoying black bars that fill the TV screen.

QUALITY 'AUDIO: You can set the tone of the BD-C7900 via HDMI (ver1.4) output, connect the optical digital audio output or analog outputs (2.0-ch). Unfortunately, no multichannel analog outputs, ie not with the A / V receiver without HDMI player appeals to you. It has internal decoding Dolby AudioTrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. It can also be a high-resolution audio formats transmitted in their native bitstream form via HDMI for your A / V receiver to decode. Other audio features include an audio synchronization (delay) and also the ability to set DTS Neo: 6 Cinema and Music modes for stereo sources.

The most important addition to the BD-C7900 Blu-ray is the second HDMI audio output. It 'a great advantage for those with two HDMI outputs, when it comes to 3D. You can use an HDMICollaboration with the 3D video signal directly on 3D TV. And the other HDMI audio connection to transmit the sound of your A / V receiver There would be no need to update, a 3D-capable A / V receiver

In addition to 3D Blu-ray disc playback, the BD-C7900 supports DVD, CD-audio AVCHD, DivX HD, WMA, MP3 and JPEG. And 'DLNA-certified, so you can connect the Blu-ray to your home network via Ethernet or 802.11n built-in wireless networking and video streaming, movies, musicand photos directly on your TV screen. The BD-C7900 has 1 GB of internal memory so you can easily download, store and BD-Live content, or you can use a USB storage device. The USB port can support music, film and photographic reproduction, as long as the file format JPEG, MP3, DivX, AVCHD, MKV, or file.

If players stream movies online platform supports applications such as Samsung. This includes access to large online streaming services like Hulu also Vudu, Netflix,Blockbuster Video on Demand, YouTube, Pandora, Flickr, Twitter and many others.

Pros: The BD-7900 Blu-ray player from Samsung is very similar to its previous version of the BD-C6900 3D Blu-ray. The main difference between the two Blu-ray players is that the BD-C7900 dual HDMI (ver1.4) has outputs. This means that you can create 3D videos directly on your 3D HDTV with an HDMI output. Then use the second HDMI output for audio signal, provided that the receiver current (has an HDMI inputInput). No further expansion is necessary to enjoy the 3D experience with surround sound. It also has Wi-Fi integrated with 1 GB of internal memory, BD-Live ready and is DLNA certified. Supports on-line multimedia services: Internet @ TV / Samsung Apps (offers content from Netflix, Pandora, Vudu, Blockbuster, Twitter, and Picasa)

The cons: To qualify for 3D home, you still need a 3D TV and 3D glasses. And, of course, Blu-ray 3D content is low at the moment. It has no multi-channelanalog outputs, not good for a person with a non-HDMI A / V innovator. Advanced Control do not like RS-232.

The Last Word: The Samsung BD-C7900 3D Blu-ray player offers excellent sound and picture quality in 2D and 3D Blu-ray. It has many features that make a great Blu-ray, such as streaming online and DLNA support. It has two HDMI outputs is a very useful feature and its value should not be underestimated. It allows you to home in 3D with theminimum update. It has a feature which should enjoy ultra-fast 2D and 3D Blu-ray as quickly as possible. And Samsung Anynet + feature allows you to use a remote control to operate the entire home cinema 3-D. - I suggest you look at the purchase price - with $ 350.00

Hdmi

Blu-ray technology has become increasingly powerful. So there are a growing number come from Blu-ray products on the market, such as BD, BD player, etc. You have Blu-ray Disc home? Have you ever had the BDmovies enjoy on your HDTV Home Theater to get the best benefits? Do you know of any problems? Do not worry, this article is written just for you who want to try in various ways to enjoy the film BD. We!

Method One: Plays Blu-ray discs with the Blu-rayHDTV via HDMI.
This is the easiest way for your BD movies to play HDTV with Blu-ray. You just need to connect the devices. Here's the pitch:
Step 1: Connect your BD player for HDTV and home theater.
Step 2: Turn on the BD player, HDTV and home theater.
Step 3: Insert the disc into BD player BD.
Then you can play with the controller.

PS:
To connect the BD player with HD TV and home theater, you need help with HDMI. There are two ways to connectthem. The first is to get a Blu-ray Player Home Theater Connect with an HDMI cable and then with a second cable from the HDTV Home Theater. The second way is to use the HDMI output from the BD player to the TV display output for video and digital optical cable from the BD player for home theater surround sound input.
Here is the first way is highly recommended. Because if you have more than one video source (such as Blu-ray and HD cable or satellite), you select the video source to your TV andHome theater audio.

Method two: Watch Blu-ray discs with the Blu-ray disc for HDTV via DLNA.
If the BD player is DLNA compatible. You can try this method.
This will help your BD disc away from physical damage. So it is necessary to ensure Blu-ray movies on your PC. However, not all formats supported by DLNA.

To resolve this problem, you can directly rip and convert Blu-ray formats for DLNA. Foxreal Blu-ray Ripper is a big favor. Then theycan watch Blu-ray movies on your PC with HDTV via DLNA. Here I will show you how to implement through a step-by-step instructions.

Step 1: Rip BD movies on your PC with Blu-ray Ripper Foxreal.
Step 2: Make sure your computer with DLNA server installed, such as Windows Media Player 11 and PS3 Media Server or something similar. (Windows 7 comes with support for DLNA servers and requires no additional software).

If you are not familiar with the steps you will find more informationHere DLNA server configuration (for XP and Vista).
If the Windows 7 operating system, you can begin immediately and give you a "streaming media" in the search box, then click Streaming Media option (usually the first option) to convert the media stream.

Part I: BD X-Stream Video Droid

Pioneer BDP-95FD Blu-Ray Disc reviews for the Multi-Region Version

Pioneer BDP-95FD Blu-Ray Disc reviews for the Multi-Region Version

Hdmi

The multi-region version from Planet Omni is available.

This player is amazing. And 'much better than first-generation players, bdps1, even the bd91. There are some little things to watch on Blu Ray. It should not play CDs. if you spend 1000 for a blue ray elite, then you should be a good price, like the Cambridge Azur for a 600 or a similar 24-bit CD player. Blue ray lasers are very narrow, and CD does not read properly, and to do this, the work would be so much of hiswill be sensitive of the leading manufacturers.

That said, drooling! best upscaling I have seen on any player up to now, streaming full features and appearance Pioneer Elite. It 'a really good player and I think that that is the best one to date.

Plays CDs, as well as advanced audio decoding internally (not DTS-HD Master) for transmission to PCM over HDMI or analog, for all the receivers are legacy.

Very nice Blu-ray, but with many interesting features.Loads such as a computer is not as fast as a regular player, but a big problem. This model is much better than the last of this line. Picture and sound is so nice to have a Pioneer Elite VSX-91TXH TV.I and the amplifier with my system, but the Pioneer Grand Opera works well on prices.
WOW this player is awesome!

I'm used to flavors from Pioneer.

According to the manual for the BDP-94FD, shows the block diagram on page 11 8 Connector RCA jacks to support 7.1.

IBe debatable, there are no major physical changes between the BDP-94FD and the to-be-released BDP-95FD.

I do not claim special powers, but my experience with the Pioneer Elite was my barometer. I bought a second DVD a few years ago on DVD and SACD, the Denon does not support mine. Denon, Pioneer beat both in image quality and musicality in my setup and the Pioneer is still working, the engine was about 6 months Denon. Sounds really easy toI ...........

New Pioneer Elite Blu-ray player, the BDP-95FD, both music lovers as well as line up is aimed at videophiles: In addition to HDMI 1.3 and xvYCC color bitstream output is higher car-audio codecs, including DTS HD Master Audio. In other words, if you have just purchased one of the last kick-ass A / V receivers, you might actually be able to use its audio decoders.
The receiver has some other things, primarily as a media streamer for PCPioneer's Home Media Gallery contents of the system.

Pioneer Elite BDP-95FD ® ® Blu-ray

The new Pioneer Elite BDP-95FD offers unprecedented high-definition picture and sound quality because of HDMI 1.3 connectivity. In addition to excellent image quality, higher bandwidth means that the player has internal decoding of high resolution audio formats Dolby ® TrueHD, Dolby ® Digital Plus and DTS-HD (TM) and the bit-stream output for all the Advanced AudioFormats such as DTS-HD Master for 7.1 surround sound. The BDP-95FD can request playback of 1080p at 24 frames per second (fps) rate, sequences of films like the director intended to preserve. The Pioneer Elite Blu-ray Disc with HDMI Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) to ensure tight integration with other HDMI-CEC high definition theater components. This feature allows a user to an entire home theater system with only one remote controlthe highest level of comfort ability.

The new Blu-ray Disc Pioneer's exclusive Home Media Gallery that users can be stored directly access and playback of music, movies and photos on your home PC. The user-friendly home networking feature also provides IP network for immediate download and the new digital media files from your computer through the BDP-95FD on a connected TV flat screen. The Pioneer Elite Blu-ray Disc compatible with Digital LivingNetwork Alliance (DLNA), Window and Apple computers video, Windows Vista or Windows Media Connect and Microsoft PlaysForSure (TM) DRM technology.

How happy I am that I have a Pioneer Elite "Target" was ... The VSX-94 is incomprehensible, if agreed with the BDP-95, life is absolutely hilarious in harmony .. that, and it took two weeks after completing a very effective hook, I was one with ELITEZEN MANUAL ....
I got a Pioneer Elite BDP-95HD'sPioneer Store in Costa Mesa.

I'll keep this first post for answers to frequently asked questions, so that the new owners to get answers quickly.

The Pioneer Elite BDP-95HD DTS-HD Master Audio bitstream produced that can be decoded by the receiver / processor?

- Yes My Integra DTC-9.8 shows "DTS-HD MSTR" when I have DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack select from the hard drive. The audio is non-credible-frig'in!

Are the load times improved over the 94HD?

- With Potch: COTBP asReference point, it took 22 seconds by pressing the START button on the remote control for the potch "loading ..." Message to appear and a total of 38 seconds for the screen Disney

How does the PQ compare 95FD 94HD?

- Very similar - 95FD just a little 'clearer

How does 1080p24:

- Flawless

How good is the upscaling SD DVD player BDP-95FD?

- Excellent (better than the BDP-94HD and HD1)

Questions or problems reported:None.

I watched Kingdom of Heaven Blu-ray, while the DTS-HD MA audio track (DTS-HD MSTR shows Integrate :-) frig'in-sounds-not credible.

Player does not work properly. Start-up time more than acceptable. Answers away immediately. It 'hard to say whether there are differences in PQ from the PS3, I've had, but the DTS-HD MA is overwhelming ...

It took only 35 seconds after pressing the close button on the remote control to start the Kingdom of Heaven... Play

With the disc into the DVD player and a stop with Potch: COTBP lasted 22 seconds for the loading message to appear potch and appear a total of 38 seconds for the Disney-screen ...

After the device can not shake the feeling of Déjà Vu All Over Again. As you can see in the picture looks almost identical to the 94HD and HD1. I know how to look like the class though. I like shiny glossy black. As Tony said, it takes about 35 seconds of titlesTo start playback. This is actually a pretty big improvement on the two older models. Just as the initial configuration is another piece of cake. I like the screen better on the Pioneer 95FD. It seems cool. I'm not comparing this unit to his brothers (or cousins), but the Samsung 1400 this elite unit costs more, but you feel as if it was money well spent.

Once again, I like the Resolution button on the remote control. The way is changing on the fly so much more enjoyablethen stops with the film and go into the setup menu (like the 1400 and HD DVD). If there is a function of other producers may from Pioneer, a good starting point would be to learn. Even with 1080p/23.98 (24) did it without problems is a breath of fresh air. Toshiba has fought, how many of us know, so it's nice to have a unit out of the box (like the 1400, 94HD and HD1) that are easily 1080p/23.98 EDID. I do not have a large amount of time spent withthis unit, but from what I can tell, it's best Blu-ray discs on the market.

D The picture is very colorful and very sharp. And 'the 1400 bests very impressive (especially for the price) Samsung Not much in terms of image Q, but when you add up the entire package to know why the Pioneer is more. Image settings, menu options, great remote control (which is light years ahead of the competition) and, of course, a great picture with great sound. Speaking of sound I've only done onefew comparisons so far, but it is too simple to provide bitstream access by selecting the menu. No confusion here. You're either sending DD or DTS via HDMI or PCM ... The call. So simple. I plan to do more audio soon, but send the audio sound to the receiver (Onkyo 905) as I was expecting a lot. Even listened well to the few minutes I had the 95FD ago. I'm not saying that it is better, because I do not want to open Pandora's box again. So do not ask here. PM me.

I am usingSony VPL-VW60 "Black Pearl" (which is the photo 3) for all my comparisons so far. 1080p/23.98 handles like a champ. I can also send directly into my crystal II and then to optimize the image before sending it to 1080p/23.98 in VW60. The Pioneer 95FD has all my other components that are not obviously in those days.

And yes, I mean the XA2 and A35 which are stubborn when it comes to post some of 1080p/24 display. In a direct comparison with95FD 94HD that the unit is obviously a flexible load times a little 'faster. The possibility of HBR audio directly to the receiver for decoding a really cool feature. Especially if you have one of the most recent, you can decrypt purchased. The picture Q is very close. I go back and forth. Directly to the pj that I look like the 95FD just a little 'sharper, but their bright colors are almost identical. I must say that the Home Media Gallery looks more refined on95FD. I never got into this feature before, but now I'm intrigued and I can just jump into it!

Bottom line, if you have the 94HD and not through the audio bitstream is then to ensure there is absolutely no reason for them to 95FD landfill. However, if you do not and are interested in more than Blu-ray device in terms of functionality and image / sound Q then look no further than the 95FD! I hate to keep picking new Pioneer units, such as my favorite Blu-ray device, but honestly, the otherCompanies are still two steps back. The 95FD is the starter in my setup. More to come (to SD DVD via the A35 and XA2, and even 1400) and some thoughts on the sound ... BTW, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (AB) is looking and sound great with this device! Get a copy!

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised that the e-95FD has excellent upconversion. Much better than the 94HD and HD1. I also have through the HQV Benchmark Blu-ray tests and treated her very well.Especially my favorite stage torture test! And like the traditions, the last time in my adult videos look great! It is on par with the A35 and XA2. I'll work hard tomorrow and not really compare side by side (1400 included), but my first initial impressions are very good to excellent ... More to come ..

Great report Joe. Thank you. It looks like a winner. I also like the look "classic" and the end of '"elite" units. This is definitely the car I'll buy when my Onkyo 885 Pre / Proarrives.

Have you compared to 5.1 PCM track from the PS3 vs. 95? I know I should not be a noticeable difference, but if you do not mind doing a comparison I would be curious to know for sure.

Not surprisingly, the DTS-MA are 95 sounds better when we have the full signal only the heart of the PS3 1.5. I can not wait to hear it!
The DTS-HD hi res is made of the King Of New York DTS HD audio track (I'm reviewing) and DTS-HD Master ofFantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer soundtrack is DTS-HD Master States ...

As I wrote in this thread the 1400 is very tight, but produces a sharper image, the 95FD. I also prefer it for SD DVD upscaling. I also prefer all the other cool features, such as the Resolution button on the remote control. It 'truly capable of resolutions on the fly, then hit stop and change to go in a set-up menu. Especially if you try to compare them! I spent a little 'This afternoon, playing blue ray discs different, but tomorrow I will do me for the XA2 for SD DVD upscaling. I predict the 95FD will be on par with the XA2. We need to know which chip it is, because it is so much better than the 94HD and HD1 ... More to come tomorrow ...

If the 95 can match the XA2 upscaling of SD, this is a huge advantage. The XA2 HD DVD is almost like new and the only one so far that the same work must be done very hi-endOr a Denon player will cost 5 times more. The Samsung 1200 has the same Reon chip and would also be great, but not on new audio capabilities. A second test, I am a new owner soon 95.

I see the BDP-95fd, and PDP-6010fd. Extremely satisfied. Support firmware has been excellent. I use a Tact 2.2x digital preamplifier, amplifier, digital clock sub-Boz, Escalante Pinyon and a pair of Escalante. My connection is via the coaxial digital output. I have aDenon 3930 Signature date say in my system with the same set-up and I must say that the sound quality and impact of low blows me away on the BDP-95fd in the form of series, the Pioneer BDP-95fd an outstanding performer in terms of audio and video.

Since my system can do only two audio channels via the digital output, I have the version with two channels Dolby Digital Plus?
Me too, I have a 95 and a 94-receiver and is quite impressive in the sound department. There is a certainHave benefits for the ma-tracks. If you have good equipment.

HDMI - is the best connection for your HDTV and Blu-ray?

HDMI - is the best connection for your HDTV and Blu-ray?

Hdmi

With the popularity of HDTV gone are the days when a TV is only used for television broadcasting and easy connection to your cable box was all they had to do. All kinds of gadgets, is now connected to the TV. The TV screen has several features to your home entertainment the way it is used for games, movies, photos, and can also be used as a computer monitor.

To get the most from your HDTV, it is usuallycomes down to how it is connected. Some people become frustrated when it comes to endless rows of multi-color input and output. It can be a daunting task if you do not know what to use to connect, not only on your HDTV, but also to the many devices you have, such as DVRs, Blu-ray players, set-top box, audio receiver and connect your game console. All offer many options for connecting to your HDTV and use make no mistake about it, how does your HDTV is connectedDifference in both image quality and sound.

How do you connect?

Normally there are 5 ways to connect to other devices to your HDTV: HDMI, DVI, Component, S-Video and composite. Some HDTVs can not all these compounds, but are the most recent, at least with HDMI, DVI and Component. What exactly are these links?

HDMI - High Definition Multimedia Interface, or the standard high-definition home theater. It gives you 1080p uncompressed highDefinition video and up to 7.1 channel surround sound from a single cable.

DVI - Digital Visual Interface was the best option with high-definition televisions. It can give you 1080p high-definition video, but you must use a cable for audio.

Components - The Component video splits video signals into three separate signals, two color and one for brightness. The higher resolution that can achieve is 720p and 1080i.

S-Video - S-Video splits the video signal into two parts, one for color, and one for brightness.

Composite or RCA - Composite gave color and brightness over a cable.

Which is best?

The simple answer to this question is the HDMI cable. With the ease of connecting a single cable, you get the best quality picture and sound. HDMI cables up to 5 Gbps of bandwidth, which is more than enough to carry uncompressed high-definition video images and up to 8 channels with 24-bit audio in high definition. This limits a video or audio effectQuality, as there is no signal conversion (digital to analog) or compressed signals. And Blu-ray discs are possible by achieving the highest quality picture and sound.

There are four versions of HDMI that have the most hardware. They are: 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3. All versions of HDMI has the capability, HD video signals up to 1080p.

1.0 - First version of HDMI. It will most audio codecs used in DVD and digital TV signals found, as well as Dolby Digital andDTS.

1.1 - This version for 5.1-channel audio, eliminating the need for permits for six separate audio RCA cables.

1.2/1.2a - Allows the use of Super Audio CD (SACD).

1.3/1.3a/1.3b - This release enables the transmission of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio for use with Blu-ray. This version also increases the bandwidth to 10 Gbps.

The downside is the cost of the HDMI cable. HDMI cable can be anywhere from $ 20 to $ 150 Some argue there is no differenceHDMI cable, no matter what the cost. DVI is another option for you, with this cable you can get the best 1080p high-definition should. However, other audio cables are required. The best choice when buying an HDMI cable to HDMI cable to find a reasonable price and work your way up until you find one that suits you.
