This player is amazing. And 'much better than first-generation players, bdps1, even the bd91. There are some little things to watch on Blu Ray. It should not play CDs. if you spend 1000 for a blue ray elite, then you should be a good price, like the Cambridge Azur for a 600 or a similar 24-bit CD player. Blue ray lasers are very narrow, and CD does not read properly, and to do this, the work would be so much of hiswill be sensitive of the leading manufacturers.
That said, drooling! best upscaling I have seen on any player up to now, streaming full features and appearance Pioneer Elite. It 'a really good player and I think that that is the best one to date.
Plays CDs, as well as advanced audio decoding internally (not DTS-HD Master) for transmission to PCM over HDMI or analog, for all the receivers are legacy.
Very nice Blu-ray, but with many interesting features.Loads such as a computer is not as fast as a regular player, but a big problem. This model is much better than the last of this line. Picture and sound is so nice to have a Pioneer Elite VSX-91TXH TV.I and the amplifier with my system, but the Pioneer Grand Opera works well on prices.

I'm used to flavors from Pioneer.
According to the manual for the BDP-94FD, shows the block diagram on page 11 8 Connector RCA jacks to support 7.1.
IBe debatable, there are no major physical changes between the BDP-94FD and the to-be-released BDP-95FD.
I do not claim special powers, but my experience with the Pioneer Elite was my barometer. I bought a second DVD a few years ago on DVD and SACD, the Denon does not support mine. Denon, Pioneer beat both in image quality and musicality in my setup and the Pioneer is still working, the engine was about 6 months Denon. Sounds really easy toI ...........

- Yes My Integra DTC-9.8 shows "DTS-HD MSTR" when I have DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack select from the hard drive. The audio is non-credible-frig'in!
Are the load times improved over the 94HD?

I watched Kingdom of Heaven Blu-ray, while the DTS-HD MA audio track (DTS-HD MSTR shows Integrate :-) frig'in-sounds-not credible.
Player does not work properly. Start-up time more than acceptable. Answers away immediately. It 'hard to say whether there are differences in PQ from the PS3, I've had, but the DTS-HD MA is overwhelming ...

Just as the initial configuration is another piece of cake. I like the screen better on the Pioneer 95FD. It seems cool. I'm not comparing this unit to his brothers (or cousins), but the Samsung 1400 this elite unit costs more, but you feel as if it was money well spent.
Once again, I like the Resolution button on the remote control. The way is changing on the fly so much more enjoyablethen stops with the film and go into the setup menu (like the 1400 and HD DVD). If there is a function of other producers may from Pioneer, a good starting point would be to learn. Even with 1080p/23.98 (24) did it without problems is a breath of fresh air. Toshiba has fought, how many of us know, so it's nice to have a unit out of the box (like the 1400, 94HD and HD1) that are easily 1080p/23.98 EDID. I am usingSony VPL-VW60 "Black Pearl" (which is the photo 3) for all my comparisons so far. 1080p/23.98 handles like a champ. I can also send directly into my crystal II and then to optimize the image before sending it to 1080p/23.98 in VW60. The Pioneer 95FD has all my other components that are not obviously in those days.
And yes, I mean the XA2 and A35 which are stubborn when it comes to post some of 1080p/24 display. In a direct comparison with95FD 94HD that the unit is obviously a flexible load times a little 'faster. The possibility of HBR audio directly to the receiver for decoding a really cool feature. Especially if you have one of the most recent, you can decrypt purchased. The picture Q is very close. I go back and forth. Directly to the pj that I look like the 95FD just a little 'sharper, but their bright colors are almost identical. I must say that the Home Media Gallery looks more refined on95FD. I never got into this feature before, but now I'm intrigued and I can just jump into it!
Bottom line, if you have the 94HD and not through the audio bitstream is then to ensure there is absolutely no reason for them to 95FD landfill. However, if you do not and are interested in more than Blu-ray device in terms of functionality and image / sound Q then look no further than the 95FD! I hate to keep picking new Pioneer units, such as my favorite Blu-ray device, but honestly, the otherCompanies are still two steps back. The 95FD is the starter in my setup. Well, I'm pleasantly surprised that the e-95FD has excellent upconversion. Much better than the 94HD and HD1. I also have through the HQV Benchmark Blu-ray tests and treated her very well.Especially my favorite stage torture test! And like the traditions, the last time in my adult videos look great! It is on par with the A35 and XA2. I'll work hard tomorrow and not really compare side by side (1400 included), but my first initial impressions are very good to excellent ... More to come ..

Have you compared to 5.1 PCM track from the PS3 vs. 95? I know I should not be a noticeable difference, but if you do not mind doing a comparison I would be curious to know for sure.
Not surprisingly, the DTS-MA are 95 sounds better when we have the full signal only the heart of the PS3 1.5. I can not wait to hear it!

As I wrote in this thread the 1400 is very tight, but produces a sharper image, the 95FD. I also prefer it for SD DVD upscaling. I also prefer all the other cool features, such as the Resolution button on the remote control. It 'truly capable of resolutions on the fly, then hit stop and change to go in a set-up menu. If the 95 can match the XA2 upscaling of SD, this is a huge advantage. The XA2 HD DVD is almost like new and the only one so far that the same work must be done very hi-endOr a Denon player will cost 5 times more. The Samsung 1200 has the same Reon chip and would also be great, but not on new audio capabilities. A second test, I am a new owner soon 95.
I see the BDP-95fd, and PDP-6010fd. Extremely satisfied. Support firmware has been excellent. I use a Tact 2.2x digital preamplifier, amplifier, digital clock sub-Boz, Escalante Pinyon and a pair of Escalante. My connection is via the coaxial digital output. I have aDenon 3930 Signature date say in my system with the same set-up and I must say that the sound quality and impact of low blows me away on the BDP-95fd in the form of series, the Pioneer BDP-95fd an outstanding performer in terms of audio and video.
